Site Controlling Business Partner* Idar-Oberstein

In your role you are responsible to drive the site performance focusing on revenue, profitability, productivity, utilization and quality. Your task is to drive process improvements while utilizing controlling instruments to increase transparency of the plant performance.

Your main responsibilities are:
  • generate transparency and drive financial and operational KPIs (profitability, productivity, utilization and quality) by identifying potential improvements and implementing respective measures
  • ensure timely provisions of production and management reports providing insights that drive management decisions
  • drive global controlling processes and timelines such as budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • responsible to coordinate and support manufacturing and operational planning in cooperation with plant managers
  • analyze production, project and functional costs
  • calculate, analyze and track product costs for existing and new products

What you have to offer.

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Controlling or Business Administration (MBA Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant controlling experience in a matrix organization in a production environment and plants
  • Ability to analyze complex data and scenarios to make short-term/daily and strategic decisions and find simplified solutions
  • Reliability and accuracy of forecast
  • SAP knowledge required
  • Fluent in English and German language (verbal and written) 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
  • Flexible, self-motivated and engaging personality with excellent interaction skills
  • Supporting and motivating personality with a hands-on mentality
