(Senior) Capability Lead*

As a Capability Management Lead, you will support and oversee the long-term roadmap and development of capabilities in clinical operations as well as the implementation of systems related to clinical trials. You will drive oversight across set-up and execution of key initiatives including but not limited to system changes. You will also ensure a transparent and streamlined infrastructure for resource assignments and decision-making within Global Clinical Development Operations (CDO). You will ensure that we have the appropriate infrastructure in place in terms of processes, systems, and capabilities to enable Clinical Trial Teams to optimally plan and execute clinical trials.
Your main responsibilities are:
  • Support VP, CDO and Sr. Director, Process Excellence in cross-functional efforts to build out infrastructure necessary to identify, evaluate and execute on functional growth opportunities.
  • Support and oversee the long-term roadmap and implementation of systems related to clinical trials
  • Identify and drive initiatives related to system changes, builds, and implementation
  • Set up and maintain a transparent and streamlined infrastructure for resource assignments and decision-making
  • Ensure our capability building landscape in line with GCP, regulatory requirements, people and organizational needs
  • Ensure that we have the appropriate infrastructure in place in terms of processes, systems and capabilities to enable Clinical Trial Teams to optimally plan and execute clinical trials

What you have to offer.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, science, or healthcare related field or equivalent. Master’s degree highly preferred.
  • Many years of pharmaceutical experience with proven track record of successful implementation of complex solutions and systems
  • Demonstrated experience with project management and application of operational excellence concepts
  • Ability to think strategically and to translate strategy into actions
  • Solid understanding of clinical trial execution and multi-national pharma regulations
  • Experience working with external parties and/ or leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to be able to navigate a highly dynamic organization effectively
