Project Manager* Clinical Trial Supply Management

At BioNTech, you will take our projects in the field of Clinical Trial Supply Management to the next level. Your main responsibilities are:
  • Cross-functional planning of projects in a highly dynamic environment (definition of scope, tasks, work packages and deliverables), coordination, and monitoring of project progress (budget, timelines, quality, risk management) - with adherence to the regulatory requirements and the respective procedures (policies, SOPs, instructions)
  • Build, maintain, and manage high performing project teams
  • Establish and ensure efficient content and information flow between interdisciplinary teams incl. routine status reporting and project reviews to ensure that project goals meet Clinical Trial Supply Management´s and company’s vision and strategy
  • Oversee different workstreams, align and manage the output with focus on a lean and user friendly process
  • Lead the implementation of company-wide new processes and process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency of Clinical Trial Supply Management according to latest clinical supply trends (e.g. just-in-time-labeling, Document Management Systems, SAP)
  • Drive continuous improvement of Clinical Trial Supply Work Packages, filing structure and interfaces to other departments, and communication, training of improved processes; drive continuous improvement (harmonization, efficiency) by leading corresponding meetings, lessons learned sessions, identifying opportunities and implementing a KPI system

What you have to offer.

  • Degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, biochemistry or comparable qualification
  • Advanced project management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry as well as a strong background in Clinical Trial Supply Management
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and international GxP guidelines; proven track record in writing regulatory documents like SOPs is a plus
  • Business-professional English language skills; profound skills in the application of standard software (e.g. MS Office including MS Project)
  • Fast perception of new knowledge and efficient problem-solving skills, willing to take over responsibility, independent and pro-active way of working, excellent communication and presentation skills, highly motivated and open-minded team player
