Procurement Associate* Manufacturing

In this role you are responsible for managing material availability and flawless business operation. Act as interface between production, QC and SCM to ensure material availability for production related and regulated requirements (e.g. iNeST, CORVAC) for current and future material.
Your main responsibilities are:
  • Oversee and coordinate continuous procurement tasks in a cross-functional collaboration with QA, QC, Production, SCM and Suppliers:
    Purchase requisition and purchase order management: prioritize purchase requistions (sense of urgency for crititcal supplies) by overseeing demand, deadlines and potential bottlenecks; operate in available ERP systems e.g. Navision, GUS, SAP; accelerate approval requests as necessary; monitoring of open orders. Claim (missing) order confirmations and delivery dates following the respective requirements of order processing.
  • Handling of complaints e.g. in the event of a deviation from the agreed statement of work / specification / goods
  • Master data management - new suppliers, new articles, material qualifications, price updates, lead time & shelf life, management of customer accounts (e.g. for webshops), ensure qualification of material and suppliers is available
  • Ensure master data matching in available ERP systems e.g. Navision, GUS, SAP
  • Purchase request consulting - consulting and support of requesters in terms of creating statement of requirements within the guidelines of procurement; continuous process improvements
  • Payment issue resolution in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders

What you have to offer.

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Applied Science, or Vocational Training in a related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment ideally in the Biotech or Pharma industry
  • Knowledge of ERP systems in Supply Chain ideally Navision and GUS
  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management procedures
  • Knowledge of current GMP Guidelines is beneficial
    Excellent written and oral communication skills - Fluency in German and in English is essential
  • Passion for quality and compliance
