Medical Science Liaison Manager* Germany

As a Medical Science Liaison Manager*, you'll be the external face of BioNTech’s German Medical Affairs department. You build partnerships with external healthcare professionals as well as organizations and you address unmet needs related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Your responsibilities in detail:
  • Act as the scientific/medical field expert delivering medical education, updates, and gathering insights from the German HCPs
  • Identify clinical trial and publication opportunities fitting the German Covid-19 vaccine strategy
  • Develop partnerships with investigators, opinion leaders, policy makers as well as healthcare professionals and ensure accurate documentation of interactions, compliance and safety reporting with local policies
  • Provide scientific support and guidance through presentations to Sales teams upon vaccine authorization
  • Input, support and attendance at German conferences, medical educational programs, advisory boards and training sessions

What you have to offer.

  • Medical Doctor, Pharmacist or PhD with at least 2 years of experience as MSL and significant medical or clinical experience
  • Understanding of clinical development and Good Clinical Research Practice and applying the highest ethical standards with a working knowledge of relevant clinical regulations and German Codes of Practice
  • Customer focus with strong networking capabilities and excellent communication as well as presentation skills added with a strong team-work mentality
  • Fluency in German and English (both spoken and written)
