Manager Procurement Clinical Services

In this role you will develop and take responsibility for the strategy to ensure clinical studies and related services are sourced in appropriate time, cost and quality in a regulated environment as well as drive continuous improvement of our business processes.

Your main responsibilities are:
  • Identification of needs in the Clinical  area to define the best approach and outsourcing model
  • Lead the sourcing activities and manage required resources
  • Actively manage and contribute to risk management, supplier qualification / due diligence with SMEs and key stakeholders
  • Strive for cost optimization and manage KPIs for the assigned procurement categories
  • Close collaboration with Quality Assurance, Clinical Operations, Clinical Trial Supply Management, Translational Sciences, Biometrics, additional stakeholders and buyers

What you have to offer.

  • University degree in a related field and several years of relevant professional experience (> 5 years)
  • Profound knowledge in pharmaceutical procurement in the area of Clinical Outsourcing
  • Comprehension of procurement processes and industry requirements in general
  • Very good negotiation skills
  • Good communication and cooperation as well as experience in national and international stakeholder management
  • Ability to engage and lead in a matrix environment
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art legal requirements in procurement
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
