With the development and launch of our mRNA based vaccine BNT162b2 against COVID-19, BioNTech has established the commercial operations in Germany for the infectious disease business. We are committed to adapt to the changing situations and to heal more diseases with a mRNA based solution.
As a part of our Digital Commercial Team, you will support the teams to become a fully data driven customer powerhouse. The position is initially in the German team and will transition to the new global digital organization in the medium term. Therefore, this position must have a high degree of flexibility, agility as well as open mindset. This position is a key hire for our global commercial digital strategy and reports to the Director Digital Transformation.

Main responsibilities:
  • Fully accountable for the project management office of the digital commercial team.
  • Ownership and control of project budgets to ensure achievement of defined project goals in agreed timelines, including risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure transparent and effective communication to all stakeholders within the organization as well management of expectations across various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Director Digital Transformation in strategic and conceptional topics to further develop and enhance the digital commercial ecosystem.
  • Support in vendor management, purchase orders and coordination of related actions.
  • Drive further optimization of project management tools and coordinate project management activities of the global digital lead agency.

What you have to offer.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional digital and/or consulting services, ideally in the life science & healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Track-record in managing multiple cross-functional projects in parallel in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment
  • Profound user knowledge of Atlassian Suite products (Jira/Confluence) as key collaboration software
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills as well as operational/hands-on ability.
  • Experience in digital healthcare marketing & sales is a plus
  • Willingness for relocations and flexibility for scope of work due to organizational ramp-up
  • Excellence in communicating effectively in both German and English
  • Team player and self-motivated and solution-oriented personality
