Associate Director* Global Medical Affairs - Infectious Diseases

As a part of our project “Lightspeed”, you will soon take the next critical step with us. In the Global Medical Team, you will support the implementation of the medical strategy for our Covid-19 vaccine and thereby make an essential contribution to this global health issue. Your main responsibilities are:
  • Co-Develop the Global Medical Strategic Plans and tactics and support all efforts to ensure consistency and alignment with our partner for BNT162, Pfizer, in line with the Global Medical Affairs Strategy and all relevant resources
  • Take ownership for and lead strategic Global Medical Affairs projects for BNT162, such as medical communications, global advisory boards, medical training plans and congress or online webinars
  • Be the company representative internally in trainings and externally to engage external scientific leaders, policy makers, patient advocacy groups and regulatory authorities with your state-of-the-art disease area as well as product related expertise
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of global pharmaceutical regulations, guidelines, codes of practices and BioNtech policies
  • Provide first line review and approval of commercial and medical materials

What you have to offer.

  • Pharmacist, Medical Doctor or PhD with several years of experience in biopharmaceutical medicine, preferrably within a matrix or franchise structure
  • Experience in Medical Affairs
  • Experience in leading a brand or disease strategy in a country, a region or global organization
  • Experience in the disease area of interest through clinical experience, biopharmaceutical experience or education preferred
