Director* IT Data and Analytics

The Director* IT Data and Analytics forms the brace around the Tech platform and data governance unit for all data-driven topics. The role is responsible for the communication strategy, program management and coordination of projects and strategic initiatives in this subject area. Strategic vendor management is also one of the main tasks of this role as well as cost planning and budget monitoring of both areas. The alignment and continuous communication with other business stakeholders is a key responsibility of the Director IT Data and Analytics. Your responsibilities are:
  • Ultimately responsible for the program management setup and project coordination for overarching initiatives
  • Strategic initiative planning and coordination including involvement of other senior business stakeholders and vendors
  • Responsible for establishing a continuous communication and organizational change management strategy throughout the entire company and all sites
  • Regular alignment with business stakeholder concerning strategic business initiatives in the area of data management and analytics and vendor management
  • Responsible for the up to date cost reports across the data units and strategic budget planning

What you have to offer.

  • University degree in, e.g., computer science, engineering, and/or business administration or other relevant area
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in data-related fields
  • Experience with the typical data governance toolchain (e.g., data catalog, data lineage)
  • Experience in designing and/or working with organization-wide data platforms to make data available across large organizations
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present technical complex decisions to business stakeholders
  • Pharma background or related work experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
