We are seeking two highly motivated Associate Scientist's to prepare, test, and maintain cell banks and controls. Analyze and present analytical results to internal as well as external groups to support and advance scientific capabilities

Supporting BioNTech’s R&D team in the US by:
  • Draft SOPs, reports, and presentations, and act as an SME for molecular biology and immunoassays
  • Assist knowledge/technology transfer of in-process and product release and characterization methods across BioNTech sites
  • Maintain instrumentation commonly used by the team and support troubleshooting of unexpected results or assay errors

What you have to offer.

  • Minimum requirements; BS in Biology or related discipline with 3 plus years of industry experience developing work experience in immunotherapy or cell therapy.
  • Demonstrated experience with molecular biology and immunoassays such as potency, cytotoxicity, RT-PCR, ddPCR, ELISA, MSD, and Luminex.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well with others

Preferred requirements; Masters degree with 5 plus years of experience of industry experience. Experience with GMP manufacturing of cell therapies and tech transfer.
